Ruth Parnell has devoted over 30 years to the long-term care industry. Mrs. Parnell is the President of RAP Resources, Inc., a consulting company that focuses on facility compliance and quality improvement through best practices. She provides services to facilities, financial institutions and other entities interested in ensuring operational and regulatory compliance.
Mrs. Parnell began her career as a Nursing Home Administrator where she successfully led a bankrupt facility into a profitable institution within the first two years. Mrs. Parnell has spent her career in varying capacities providing operational support and implementing the necessary infrastructure and operational policies necessary to manage facilities while ensuring regulatory compliance, financial viability, and success. Mrs. Parnell is part of the Nurse Leadership Project team in California, a grant program designed to reduce turnover in long term care through nurse leadership education.
Mrs. Parnell is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, certified in Healthcare Compliance and MDS Assessments, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. She attributes her success to her hands-on approach to problem solving and empowering others to become successful while working within the constraints of the regulatory environment.
